Mini Cooper has always been a fun vehicle to drive and with the new improved 2017 Mini Cooper hatchback configurations, the fun will only add. There are some positive things to expect from the new model but be prepared for some of the possible flaws too. But in an overall sense, Mini Cooper will disappoint you and this model won’t do it either. So, aside from the promising 2017 Mini Cooper hatchback configurations, there are also some perks and possible flaws that you should expect. For a starter, the interior is sharp and neat and it is as good looking as ever. The sharp interior is accompanied by the sharp handling and control – and you can expect a fun and enjoyable control while trying to tame this cute little fella. For the new model, the all wheel driving system will be available with enough powertrain in the base trim.
The not-so-good news are the limited space inside the cabin. Sure, this hatchback may be designed as a four seater but it is not a really a suitable option for it. And the fact that it is pricier when compared to other competitors (with similar features and performance) is a put off. If you are smart, you may be looking for other better bargain and options. There are several options for the trims, including the base Cooper, Cooper Convertible, Cooper S, and the Clubman. The interesting thing is that Cooper S and base Cooper will lso come with four doors.
Don’t worry, the Cooper will still be coming with the turbocharged option. The base will be coming with 3 cylinder turbocharged 1.5 liter engine, delivering 124 hp of power – and it is definitely super fun to drive and control. The Cooper S will be coming with inline four turbocharged 2.0 liter, delivering 189 hp of power. The highest power is the John Cooper Works model with its turbo four 2.0 liter engine, delivering 228 hp of power. The transmission will be either manual or auto six speed model.
